last night was the first time i really slept since i came back from the states about three weeks ago.. god! school's really toxic.. last week i've had major exams, papers and hella lots of stuff that i don't even think i need.. or maybe i need 'em.. i don't know..

anyway, enough about all these toxicity.. it's 1 am and i have to wake up at 5 because there's this awarding ceremony at the quezon city hall.. the city government's sort of acknowledging the four golds and a bronze medal that i have brought back to the philippines after competing at the 2006 ISI World Recreational Team Championships.. the competition was held last July 22-29, 2006 at the new england sports center in Marlborough/ Boston, Massachusetts.. the competition went great for me.. not for the entire philippine team though.. last year, the team was second over-all.. now, it has barely managed to be in the top ten.. it's really sad.. it's probably because some of the skaters weren't able to come because of financial difficulties.. i mean, you have to pay your airfare, hotel accomodations and all those stuff PLUS the airfare of your coach, his food and lodging allowance.. and another reason was that some skaters had their visa applications denied.. maybe next year would be better.. i hope so..

anyway, i went to harvard.. which was oh so great! i love harvard.. wish i could study there.. my friends made this pact that before we die, we should be able to study in harvard.. i sure want to study in harvard, whether for my master's or who knows a PH D.? oh well, i hope so.. it's kinda expensive though, hopefully i'll turn out to be a rich business magnate of some sort and be able to afford harvard education.. and hopefully, i'm smart enough to pass.. (hindi pa nga pumapasa, iniisip na kung paano magbayad.. hehe..)

anyway, after my week in boston - i arrived there on the 23rd of july.. i went to L.A. - july 29.. i stayed at my tita's house.. this part of my trip was the "funner" part.. sort of the layed back - enjoy yourself - travel around type.. there i've met my cousins - kuya allen, camille, kuya julius and his friend kuya john.. kuya julius had this "gaming-sanctuary" in his room where all you have to do is play video games until 5 or 6 or 7 am.. then sleep til 1 and then play video games again.. it made me kinda nostalgic, missing my old playstation and the days when i used to play video games instead of studying for that polsci exam.. but of course, we did more than just playing video games.. we went around the city, kuya julius and kuya john has brought me to disneyland, though i didn't go in.. my purpose was to buy new skates and well - it was unsuccessful.. we couldn't find the skates shop that my coach was talking about, so we just went back home.. it was too late to go inside, it was almost night time then.. we also went to hollywood, shopped at rodeo drive - or i like to think of it that way.. it's more like window shopping.. hehe.. went to the universal studios.. got wet.. went to knott's berry farm.. got even more wet.. and we went to vegas.. where we got.. well, broke.. or they got broke.. i didn't play, i just kept the dollars that my tita was giving me and used it for... shopping! yeah, i love shopping in vegas.. i bought lots of stuff.. i wish i could do that everyday.. oh well..

and now, it's 2 am here in the philippines.. and at last, i'm feeling sleepy.. so that's what i would do.. sleep.. i'd update next time.. :)
